The Airbus ACJ220 is the business jet version of the A220, it’s the first ACJ business jet being put out by longtime commercial airline manufacturer, Airbus. With this first jet, Airbus firmly establishes itself in the private jet market. The ACJ220 answers the question, “What if a commercial airliner was modified for personal use?”, and it does not disappoint!

Just like its airline counterpart, the ACJ220 is powered by Pratt & Whitney 1500G jet engines. These engines have nearly 24,000 pounds of thrust while being much more fuel efficient than many private jets of similar size.

Airbus has made this jet fully customizable. The interior cabin measures to over 700 sq feet of space, and can be designed in a number of styles and setups. From Avant Garde to ‘Quintessential’, the ACJ220 has 4 total preset designs.

After style, the Airbus ACJ220 has all the amenities and more that you’d expect. The cabin is laid out with 6 spacious zones, spanning from a living space to a full bedroom with nightstands and closets.

Cockpit

The ACJ220 features a state of the art cockpit for the pilots. Utilizing their infamous fly-by-wire flight controls, the ACJ220 puts safety first and technology not far behind.

The cockpit includes 4 upper display units. These include synthetic vision which helps the pilots judge the terrain and other landscape when flying through hazardous weather. The cockpit also includes two heads up displays which fold down and put an emphasis on efficiency, allowing the pilots to continue to look forward when coming in to land.
